The Cross Three Quarter Horse Ranch is proud of our first-class facilities, well-maintained footing, and state-of-the-art indoor arena. We take special care to create a clean and safe environment. We clean the stalls twice daily and feed high-quality hay and nutritional supplements. Plus, the horses get the advantage of the clean air and wide open spaces of Dusty, Washington.

All horses get the opportunity (if requested) of learning to work cattle, handle a rope, cross creeks, negotiate rough country, open gates and many other ranch duties.

Tim Johnson

Cross Three Quarter Horses, LLC is proud to introduce Tim Johnson as our resident trainer. Tim hails from Gilroy, Calif., where he has spent the last decade starting, training, and showing cutting horses in the highly-competitive California cutting club scene. He has worked with Winston Moore, MG Brown, Bobby Cotta, Sam Johnson, and Billy Martin to name a few. 

We have supreme confidence in Tim’s abilities and feel that he brings the talent and experience that will contribute much to the Northwest cutting industry. His soft hands, beautiful seat, positive outlook, and ability to build confidence in a horse make Tim a perfect fit to our program. 

Whether it's a young horse that needs to be started or an older cutting horse that needs tuning, Tim is ready to help. He is also experienced and willing to give lessons on the mechanical cow, buffalo, and cattle.
